Make a big textured flower with a different texture per petal.
Model counting each petal. Encourage your child to feel each different texture.

Garden Rescue!
Here's a great idea for you Pioneers - let's imagine you have a budget of £30. Can you choose some flowers from this website to create a beautiful garden? Make a list of what you would buy and use a calculator to find the total cost. Remember, don't go over £30! You can change the budget to a different amount if you like.
Alternatively, you might like to watch the video below and have a go at sorting flowers into overlapping flowerbeds. We call this way of sorting using a Venn diagram, and it can be quite tricky! You'll need to download the files attached below the video so you can have a go too.
