Life Skills - Discoverers - Making hot and cold drinks
Use these videos to support your young person to make drinks for family members. Encourage them to ask each family member either verbally or with their communication aid and, importantly, to listen to the answer; it may support your child further if the family member responds verbally and using the communication aid too as this is good modelling.
For example, the student asks 'You want drink' saying and pointing to these in their communication book then the family member responds 'I want orange juice' saying and pointing to these in the communication book.
