Story - Adventurers - Literacy Lesson 2 - W/B 01.02.21

Today's tasks are the same as the tasks that you did on Monday, but with a different character.  You can choose to do your work about Veruca Salt, about Violet Beauregarde or about Mike Teavee.

Watch all three videos and decide which character you want to do your work about.

This video about Veruca Salt.  She is one of the children who wins a golden ticket and goes to Willy Wonka's Chocolate factory.  The video shows Veruca at the beginning of the story with her golden ticket and then what happens to her at the chocolate factory.

This video about Violet Beauregarde.  She is one of the children who wins a golden ticket and goes to Willy Wonka's Chocolate factory.  The video shows Violet at the beginning of the story with her golden ticket and then what happens to her at the chocolate factory.

This video about Mike Teavee.  He is one of the children who wins a golden ticket and goes to Willy Wonka's Chocolate factory.  The video shows Mike at the beginning of the story and then what happens to him at the chocolate factory.

Now choose which task best suits you.  If you have a printer print out the page and write on it.  If not, look at the page on the screen and write on plain paper.

Task C - Cut out the pictures of Veruca, Violet OR Mike and stick them in the right order.  I've put two versions of these below, a PDF version and a word version.  The word version is in case you want to move the pictures on screen instead of printing out.

Task B - Write one or two sentences about what happened to Veruca, Violet OR Mike (use the word card to help).

Task A - Write at least one sentence for each picture to tell the story of what happened to Veruca, Violet OR Mike (use the word card to help).

For tasks B and A, if you really don't feel like writing you could record yourself saying your sentences.
