Maths - Adventurers - Money Sense

Today's work is very similar to the first money lesson - Making Money.

Print out the main activity sheet below and find some coins to match the amounts.

If you don't have any real money just use the coins and notes which you can download below.

You can do this activity at 3 different levels.

Level 1 - easy

Use pound coins and £5 notes only.

Level 2 - medium

Use pound coins, £2 coins and £5 notes

Level 3 - most challenging

Use whatever coins or notes you like - challenge yourself to using at least 6 coins for each amount.

For example, for £6 you could use:

1998 Bimetallic £2 Silver Proof Coin | Chard - £25.59     New £1 coin: Seven things you might not have noticed that make it safer | The Independent | The Independent New £1 coin: Seven things you might not have noticed that make it safer | The Independent | The Independent  New £1 coin: Seven things you might not have noticed that make it safer | The Independent | The Independent      Rare 50p fifty pence English coins Britannia 1997- 2008 Britannia 50p Circulated | eBayRare 50p fifty pence English coins Britannia 1997- 2008 Britannia 50p Circulated | eBay
