Maths - Adventurers - activity 10
Activity A - easier
What food can you find in your kitchen?
Can you find some food that is a square or a circle or a triangle?
Print out the 2D shapes worksheet at the bottom of this page for a cutting and sticking activity.
Activity B- more challenging
Look for some 3D shapes like in the picture below. Print out the shape mat at the bottom of this page and put your food in the right sections like in the picture below. You could write the names of the shapes on the shape mat too.
You need to find something that is a cuboid, a sphere, a cylinder, a cube - and if you can, a cone (that's tricky!)
If you can't find all the shapes, draw or print a picture of some food that is the shape you are looking for.
