Life Skills - Discoverers - Chocolate Chip Cookies

This is a very easy cookie recipe.  Lots of fun to be had rolling the dough into a ball!

Can your young person find the ingredients in the cupboard?

If they can't find the ingredients in the cupboard put all the ingredients on the table and ask them to find the specific ingredient or show them two ingredients and ask them to choose the one you need (they can indicate by picking it up, pointing or eye pointing).

What skills can your young person help with?

In Owl class we all like mixing with a spoon.

Some of us can crack eggs too (perhaps into a separate bowl first!)

Rolling the dough into a ball is a great skill to try, it might need a demo first.  If your young person would prefer to play with the dough ball that's ok let them explore.

Eating is definitely everyone's favourite part!
