This week you can make your own volcano.                                               

Easiest activity:

Watch this video from the Natural History Museum.  Now make your own volcano like the one in the video. 

Can you find a video of a volcano erupting on the Internet? 

Medium level activity:

Print out and follow the instructions below to make your own volcano.  You will need to do some careful measuring here, and you will learn a bit more about chemical reactions. 

Extension activity:

What do you know about volcanoes?  You can learn lots of scientific facts from the PowerPoint below. 

Perhaps you could set up a Zoom meeting with a friend or relative and teach them all about volcanoes.  See if you can share your screen so they can see the PowerPoint!
