Rett Awareness Day – Thursday 22nd October20 October 2020 (by admin (admin)) |
This month is Rett Awareness month and we would like to show our support in school by wearing purple on Thursday 22nd October.
Pupils are encouraged to wear something purple and bring in a donation for Rett UK a charity dedicated supporting families living with Rett Syndrome.
Rett syndrome is a rare genetic neurological condition that affects mainly girls. It can cause severe physical and learning difficulties as well as many other symptoms such as scoliosis, epilepsy, sleep problems and difficulty eating and swallowing.
Thanks for your support
