Gallery - Paralympian visit - 20.10.17

Jim Roberts, a wheelchair Rugby Paralympian came to visit our school for a day. He started with a very interesting presentation about his difficult journey. The students listened very carefully, asked questions and found him to be interesting and brave. They got to touch his medals, GB team kit and look through a book of the Rio Paralympics. He also ran fun Rugby Wheelchair sessions during the day. He ate lunch with the students and also spent time with them on the playground. The students loved having him here and treated him like a celebrity. Hopefully they were inspired by his story to be determined even when times are tough.
